Meant to post this one a while back. The folks at Saving Hope were kind enough to use my track ‘Falling’ for their episode trailer!
Really excited for the whole Out With Dad crew who are nominated for an array of Indie Soap Awards in NYC tomorrow including Best Use of Music. Such an honour to be a part of this production along with so many other great musicians.
Here’s a link to the episode with ‘Goodnight Lovers, Goodnight Thieves’.
Here is a video of ‘Goodnight Lovers, Goodnight Thieves’ live with the Hart House String Ensemble. Such a dream come true to play those tunes with a full ensemble backing.
Going to be playing a free show at Hart House on March 8, this time with a string quintet! The show is all ages, but there will be a bar this time. I will certainly let you all know more details as soon as I do!
So I couldn’t be more stoked to play with the Hart House Chamber Strings ensemble this Saturday (Feb 4th) at Hart House.
Being the music nerd that I am, I actually tend to write most of my songs while dreaming of having a full string ensemble behind them (lame I know, but true) and thanks to some amazing people/friends this will happen on Saturday.
I’m going to be playing three tunes (Goodnight Lovers, Goodnight Thieves, On The Incline and Life As A Salesman). Had a chance to hear them in rehearsal and they’re sounding pretty darn sweet. Can’t wait to share them with you all on Saturday!
We’ve just added a few last minute dates in Kingston and Montreal. Looking forward to some good slamming at Clark Hall in Kingston (sounds dirty, but it’s actually not!) and I’m stoked to see some familiar faces in Montreal.
Here are the dates:
Feb 2nd at Clark Hall Pub in Kingston, ON
Feb 3rd at Crobar in Montreal, QC
Feb 4th at Hart House with the Hart House String Ensemble in Toronto, ON
Ben Somer will be joining me for the Kingston and Montreal shows and Mike Slute will be backing me for those shows as well.
Stoked to see you all!
